The climate in Cameroon
Cameroon is located in West Africa, just north of the equator on the Gulf of Bonny. The largest part of the country has a tropical climate: humid with temperatures that fluctuate between 25 and 30 °C. The dry season runs roughly from November to February. The coastal area has the most precipitation. Further inland it becomes less humid, especially if you are heading north, which borders the desert country of Chad. The climate is savannah-like with larger fluctuations in temperature. In March and April, for example, it is around 40 °C.
