The climate in Central African Republic
The Central African Republic is located in the middle of Africa just above the equator. The climate is tropical. The north is substantially drier than the south with its dense rainforest. The rainy season runs from April to October when it seriously pours with a monthly minimum of 200 mm. The temperature is around 30 °C. The warmest and also driest period runs from November to March when, the daytime average temperature is 35 °C, but it can often reach extremes of 40 °C. November and December are the best months to travel.
