Guinea-Bissau is a small country on the west coast of Africa. The climate is tropical. The rainy season runs from June to October. In the wettest month, August, there is more than 600 mm of rain. The maximum temperatures are above 30 °C the whole year round. The months of February to May are the warmest. The best time to travel is from November to February when it is dry and not extremely hot.
