The climate in Seychelles
The Seychelles is an island group consisting of 115 islands. These lie in the Indian Ocean, just south of the equator. The climate is tropical. The hottest period is from November to May with a daytime average of 30 °C. In the 'cold' season it is 25 to 30 °C. The island is wet. From March to September there is 50 to 200 mm of precipitation per month. The wettest months are December to February. With many coral islands (75 in total), the Seychelles is a true tropical diving paradise. The archipelago is located just outside the tropical cyclones area.
