The climate in Zambia
Zambia is located in south central Africa, south of the equator. The country is very mountainous. Only in the valleys there is a moist and warm tropical climate. Zambia has three seasons: a cool (average 25 °C) and dry season which runs from April to August, a hot and dry season from August to November, the rest of the year is hot and humid. In October it reaches 30 °C on the plateaus and sometimes 40 °C in the valleys. The best time to visit is in the dry season which runs from May to November.
