The climate in Brunei
Brunei is a very small, but very rich country (oil) and is surrounded by Malaysia. The north is situated on the South China Sea. The climate is tropical due to its location just above the equator. The word ‘winter’ isn’t in the Brunei dictionary: it is always at least 30 °C during the day. The high humidity also makes it very oppressive. Tropical showers fall in abundance, especially in the months of September to January. The best travel period is in the drier period which runs from February to May.
