The climate in Malaysia
Malaysia, which consists of a western and eastern part separated by the South China Sea, has a tropical climate. The maximum temperature throughout the year is between 25 and 35 °C. The climate is determined by two tropical winds: the Northwest monsoon, which blows between November and April, and the Southwest monsoon, which blows between May and October. Especially the Northwest monsoon frequently brings flooding, especially in the months of November to February. A tropical squall is never far away in Malaysia; there is no dry season. Best travel time is the European summer period.
