The climate in El Salvador
The small and poor Central American country El Salvador, which has made its home on the Pacific coast, has a tropical savannah climate. Summer and winter do not exist in El Salvador. The temperature is always above 30 °C, in the mountains it is cooler. The country has a dry and wet season. The dry season lasts from November to May, when it barely rains. The other months may be termed as wet, although it doesn’t rain throughout the day. Precipitation falls mostly early in the evening in the form of short, violent thunderstorms.
