The climate in Mexico

Mexico is a climatically diverse country. This is due to the differences in altitude and proximity to oceans. The Pacific west coast is tropical and hot: always 30 °C and more. The east coast is subtropical: from October to April it is cooler (25-30 °C). This does not apply to the Yucatán region, since there it is never cooler than 30 °C. In the central area temperatures are tempered by the altitude. The rainy season runs from June to September. Most tropical showers fall on the coast. The north-west and north-east consist of desert and steppe, and are dry and hot.
