The climate in Netherlands Antilles
In the Netherlands Antilles, which consists of five island regions, the sun shines on average 8 hours per day. The climate on the Antilles is pretty dry. The wettest is between October and December when there is on average 100 mm rainfall. So close to the equator it is hot: averaging slightly more than 30 °C. The 'coolest' months are January and February. With 29.5 °C average but that is only 2.5 degrees cooler than in the hottest time (August-October). The heat on the Lesser Antilles is tempered by the north-east trade wind. The Dutch Islands group has a favourable climate and may be visited all year round.
