The climate in Belgium

The predominantly south-westerly sea current give Belgium a mild and humid climate; mild winters and cool summers. Rain is never far away in Belgium. On the coast, with places like Ostend and Bruges, most precipitation falls in October. In Low and Central Belgium and the Ardennes most precipitation falls in July and August. The highest average temperatures are at the coast: 16.9 °C in summer and 3 °C winter. In the Ardennes, the average winter temperature is just above zero. There is regularly 30 to 70 cm of snow. So you can also ski in the Benelux.
