The climate in Serbia
The Republic of Serbia has a moderate continental climate: warm in summer and cold in winter. In the flat north, with the capital Belgrade, the temperature in the winter is just above freezing. Summers average 27 °C. In the mountainous south and east winters are freezing. There you find much skiing. The most famous ski resort is Kapaonik. It rains on average 8 days per month in Serbia. The wettest month is June. The sunniest month is July. September is the best month to travel. Then it is still pleasantly warm (24 °C) and dry.
