The climate in Spain
Spain is very diverse in terms of climate. The north and north-west have a maritime climate. The best time to visit this region is in July and August. Then it is not scorching hot, but rather pleasantly warm. Beware of getting drenched by heavy showers. From the Costa Brava in the north to the Costa del Sol in the south there is a Mediterranean climate. The Balearics are also equally blessed. The holiday season lasts in this region from April to October. May is the wettest month. June the sunniest. In the interior there is a continental climate. Visit this area in the spring, when it is pleasantly mild and the natural surroundings at their prettiest. In the summer it is hot (40 °C). In the winter you can ski in the mountain areas.
