The climate in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia consists of sand. It is scorching hot between May and September. In the middle of the desert the mercury doesn’t hesitate to climb to 45 °C. At the Red Sea it is slightly less hot with 37 °C, but there it is also a lot more humid. Between December and March is the least warm: 20-25 °C in the desert and 30 °C at the Red Sea. This is also the best time, armed with a bucket and spade, to head in the direction of the desert. It hardly ever rains in Saudi Arabia. The occasional drip falls between December and May.
