The climate in Yemen
Yemen is the southernmost country in the Middle East and is bordered in the south by the Gulf of Aden. On the coast and in the west it is dry and very hot: temperatures reach 50 °C. The great variations in altitude ensure that you are not sweating buckets everywhere. In winter, December to March, it can even freeze at night in the mountains, which reach almost 4,000 metres. March and April, and summer have the most precipitation.
