The climate in Bolivia
Bolivia is situated in the middle of South America. The north is located in the Amazon region and the climate is tropical. The rainy season runs roughly from November to April. This is also the warmest period. The south-east, in the direction of Paraguay, is dry and warm. The rest of Bolivia lies in the Andes mountains. It is difficult to designate this area climatically. The higher, the colder is perhaps the best description: up to 800 meters the climate is tropical, from 800 to 1800 metres the climate is moderate and above that it is cold. In La Paz (3658 m) in the daytime it is 10 °C in January and 7 °C in July.
